Temporary business visa

The temporary business visas include a short-stay travel visa and a long-stay one.

The Short Business Travel visa allows you to Australia for business related activities, other than employment, for a stay of up to three months. The Short Business Travel visa is valid for one visit to Australia within 12 months from the date of issue, with a maximum stay of three months.

For longer stays of up to four years, the Temporary Business Entry (Long Stay) visa allows for the following people to remain and work in Australia:
Employees recruited from overseas for companies operating in Australia; or

Employees from overseas companies seeking to establish a branch in Australia, participate in joint ventures, or fulfil a contract awarded to an overseas company; or

Personnel coming under a labour or Invest Australia Supported Skills agreement.

If you are interested in coming to Australia for the purposes of temporary business activities or sponsored temporary employment, or would like assistance with an existing application (that is, an application that has already been lodged), then please contact our office. We will make a comprehensive assessment of your likely eligibility and review with you the best way to proceed with your application at the earliest convenient date suitable for you.
