Subclass 571 – Schools, for students wishing to study at primary, or secondary level, including approved secondary exchange programs
Subclass 572 - Vocational Education and Training, for students wishing to undertake a certificate I, II, III, and IV qualification, diploma, or advanced diploma

Subclass 573 – Higher Education, for students wishing to undertake a bachelor degree, associate degree, graduate certificate, or graduate diploma

Subclass 574 – Postgraduate Research, for students wishing to undertake a masters degree, including master coursework and master research, or doctoral degree

Subclass 575 – Non-award, for students wishing to undertake an enabling course, such as non-award foundation studies, or other full-time course or components of courses not leading to an Australian award

Subclass 576 – AusAid and Defence, for full-time courses of any type undertaken by an AusAID or Defence student, who are sponsored by the Australian Government

The requirements for each of the student visa categories vary according to the assessed risk level of the applicant and also their proposed course of study. Generally, family members are able to be included in your application.

If you or a relative of yours is interested in coming to Australia for the purposes of study and would like to check your eligibility for a student visa, or would like assistance with an existing application (that is, an application that has already been lodged), then please contact our office. We will make a comprehensive assessment of your likely eligibility and review with you the best way to proceed with your application at the earliest convenient date suitable for you.
